Online Learning Session: Exploring Present & Future Opportunities with the Emergency Forest Restoration Program for Private Forest Landowners

Join FLA Director of Government Affairs, Craig Anderson, and Program Specialist with USDA’s Farm Service Agency, Emily Horsley, for an online learning session on the present and future of the Emergency Forest Restoration Program (EFRP).

Emily will provide a brief background and history of the USDA Farm Service Agency and a high-level overview of the Emergency Forest Restoration Program (EFRP) which is designed to provide payments to nonindustrial private forest landowners after their land is destroyed after a natural disaster. Craig will provide an update on FLA’s involvement in helping shape EFRP as it is in its present form and the ways we are working with Congress to make important changes to the program.
