National Grassroots Mobilization

Members of the Forest Landowners Association (FLA), who own and operate more than 40 million acres of forestland in 48 states, mobilize at the grassroots level to strengthen FLA’s direct lobbying messages with personal messages to their members of Congress. When legislative and regulatory issues reach a critical point, FLA reaches out to this grassroots network of private forest landowners across the United States with its online advocacy tool, CapWiz, which activates its members to take action by communicating their concerns to crucial members of Congress and regulatory agencies who have the power to make decisions that impact private forest landowners.
